WHAT A PARTY!!!!
Thousands of people cram around Ha Noi's central lake Hoan Kiem to celebrate the coming of the year of the buffalo. No excessive drunks, no fighting - just a lot of fun for big and small. For sure the police was everywhere on the look-out for banned fire works and chasing young people sending candle lit lanterns in the air. (The beautiful and harmless looking lanterns are actually a very dangerous hazard, causing hundreds of fires every year in Vietnamese cities during the Tet celebrations).
